It looks dangerous because it kind of is – (and that’s OK)

How Intrepid makes scary fun – for beginners, wobblers, and wild cards alike.

Maybe your child is thinking about trying skateboarding but you’re not sure.
Maybe they’re not sure.
Maybe they’ve seen a skatepark and thought: “I’d never fit in there.”

Maybe you’ve imagined bruises, older kids doing wild tricks, and a place that feels intimidating.

We get it. Skateboarding can look scary from the outside.

But here’s what we know from running hundreds of Intrepid sessions:

It is a little scary. That’s why it works.
We just make it safe to try anyway.

A child who said “I can’t” at the start of the session ends it with a grin and a shout of “I DID IT!”

That moment is why we do this.

Skateboarding with us is:

  • Low-pressure
  • Super supportive
  • Focused on fun, not perfection
  • Open to every kind of kid

Whether your child wants to learn tricks or just slide down ramps on their knees (true story – they love it), they’re welcome here.

  • You learn to fall and get back up
  • You learn to try again (and again)
  • You learn that you don’t have to be good to have a great time

We’ve had kids too shy to speak on day one, now cheering for their friends from the top of the ramp.
We’ve had quiet smiles turn into loud laughs as anxious eyes light up when they realise, “Wait, I actually just did that?”

Ready to roll?
Book a session and give it a try. No pressure.
Just skateboarding – done the Intrepid way.
