” The Dorset Children’s Foundation provide accessible, fun activities for children with disabilities and their families.
Every month we hire out a local indoor skate park so that children with a wide range of physical and learning differences can come along and use the skate park without judgement or sensory overload. Ashley delivered a really great skating session to several children with a wide range of abilities. He was patient, encouraging and kept the children engaged for far longer than I’d anticipated and the feedback I received from both the children and their parents was all really positive.
The children we work with are vulnerable and lack in confidence so activities like skateboarding, that help to build on their resilience and self esteem are so important. I am thrilled that Intrepid has been able to work with us and hope to see Ashley at more of our sessions in the future. “
